Reliable safety even in reverse!

The towbar bike racks of the Uebler i-series with Distance Control System not only feature all the advantages of the i-series but are additionally equipped with an integrated parking assistant for safe reverse driving.

The bike rack´s radio system replaces the vehicle‘s distance warning system, which is deactivated when the bike rack is installed. Sensors and transmitters for the DC system are integrated in the rear part of the rack, the receiver with display is placed inside the car in the 12 V socket.

When reverse gear is engaged, the interference-free radio system activates automatically and warns visually and acoustically from obstacles behind the vehicle.

Outstanding handling: Extra light, with folding and tilt function

The i41 fetatures the patented Uebler IQ-fastener, fixing the bike rack on the towbar without additional clamping lever, without further preadjustment and without the need of tools.

Therefore the rack is put onto the towbar in compactly folded state and upright position and then pushed downwards. Due to the leverage effect and the tare weight, the rack is clamped to the towball with only little additional effort.

Unfolding the U-bar and the wheel rails then only takes a few simple steps. The detachable bike holders can be operated with one hand only and positioned individually on the bicycle frame.

The access to the car trunk even when the rack is loaded is granted thanks to the 90° tilt function of the racks, which is released by a foot lever. That way, both hands remain free to allow a controlled lowering of rack and bikes.

The bike holders can be locked and the rack‘s clamping mechanism can be blocked on the towball using a keyed alike locking system, so racks and bicycles are optimally protected against theft.

Suitable for e-bikes: The racks´ low weight allows a extra high cargo load. The extra wide wheel rails and the large rail spacing are adapted to the transport of e-bikes (pedelecs).

The i-series bike racks are already 7 times test winners, among others the i31 has won the ADAC test (June 2019)!

90° folding angle: particularly suitable for vehicles with a very low tailgate (e.g. VW T5/T6, Caddy, Mercedes V-Class and simil.ar designs).

Due to different trailer hitch types and their varying installation situations, a trial installation is recommended to ensure that the tailgate opens.
