CRUZ is a Spanish brand founded in 1963, specializing in roof boxes, bike carriers, luggage and transport solutions for both passenger and commercial vehicles. The company was established by Antonio Cruz Luna as "Construcciones Metálicas Antonio Cruz Luna" and later became known as CRUZBER SAU. Today, CRUZ is a market leader in Spain and distributes its products to over 30 countries worldwide.
History of CRUZ
During the 1960s and 1970s, the company started producing roof boxes for popular cars such as the Seat 600, Renault Dauphine, and Renault 4/4. Later, CRUZ specialized exclusively in roof boxes, participated in international automotive events, and invested in modernizing its production processes.
Growth and International Expansion (1980–2000)
The company modernized its production lines, introduced new product lines including bike and ski carriers, and expanded into international markets. CRUZ products received TÜV GS certification and trademarks were registered across the European Union and other regions.
Innovation and Sustainability (2010s)
CRUZ implemented new manufacturing technologies including nanotechnology, complied with ISO 9001:2015 standards, and successfully passed "City Crash" tests according to ISO/PAS 11154:2006. The company introduced products such as CRUZ Airo aerodynamic roof boxes, CRUZ Stema and CRUZ Cyclone bike carriers, and the CRUZ Keel kayak carrier.
